Scenario
Sending Emails via Workflow can be verified if it has executed properly on the system. This is to confirm if the email has been sent to the recipient/s.
Solution
- Open the record impacted, for example: Sales Order
- Under Communication tab, check if there is an email message attached
- Under System Information > Workflow History, validate if the Send Email Actions has been triggered
- If the two timestamps for Communication and Workflow History are matching (or has a small time difference), it means the email has been sent out by NetSuite's infrastructure already. Unless there is a Delay set to the Workflow settings, if the email is delayed on the inbox, it may be related to other external services.
