The View Record link on a Saved Search Email allows recipients to access the actual record in NetSuite User Interface.
This is possible if we have the check box enabled in the Email tab > Customize Message subtab > Include View Record Link of the saved search.
Below describes when the View Record link does and does not appear on an email alert:
1. If the recipient of the email is based on the Specific Recipients subtab, the link will be included in the email regardless of what email option is selected. It works both for Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated and Send Emails According to Schedule.
2. If the recipient of the email is based on the Recipients from Results subtab, the link will only be visible when Send Email Alerts When Records are Created/Updated is enabled. But when the Send Emails According to Schedule is used, the View Record link will not appear even if the check box is checked.
