Creating a Task

Tasks can be used either to remind yourself of an action to follow up, or to assign to other staff to action.

There are several ways to create a new task:

Creating the task directly from your Create New Menu:

1. Go to Create New Menu:

2. Select Task.

From a customer record:

1. Go to Create New drop down.
2. Select Task.

Or alternatively:

3. Go to General.
4. Go to Activities subtab.
5. Click the New Task button.

  1. Enter a Title for your task.
  2. Select the Assigned To person, which can be yourself, or another employee.
  3. Enter a Due Date.
  4. If you want to set a reminder, you will need to tick Reserve Time.
  5. Select a start and end time.
  6. Select the type of reminder – to be emailed to you, or to pop up within JCurve.
  7. Select the number of minutes before your start time, to send the reminder. Note: Do not leave this as none, otherwise the reminder will not send.
  8. Enter your reminder text.
  9. Click Save.
